How does Botox work?

Botox Injection Procedure
The procedure is performed by aesthetic medicine doctor of our partner clinic. Most of the time, there is no or little pain, thus the area of injection is not anesthetized before the procedure. In case of hypersensitivity, you will be provided with local anesthesia.The procedure itself lasts for several minutes: a small dose (depending on each patient) of preparation is injected to a number of points in the area. These micro injections block hyperactive muscles responsible for formation of mimic wrinkles.
The Effect
Usually, the effect becomes visible in 2-7 days; however, sometimes it may take up to 14 days. The impact of evened wrinkles lasts up to 1 year. Emotions can be expressed as before, however they no longer cause face wrinkles.
